Abstract

Waldheinia huegelri (Sch.-Bip.) Tzvelev (Asteraceae - Anthemideae) is reported first time from lndia. lt occurs in Gangotri National Parkin Uttarkashi districtof Uttaranchal.Thespeciesdif{ersfromitscloselyallied W glabrain havingdense woolly tomentum on leaves and peduncles and very short pappus with dilated tips.
