Abstract

The genus Sisyrinchium L. (Iridaceae) represented by Sisyrinchium rosulatum E.P. Bicknell is reported for the fi rst time for India from Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu, India. Detailed description, illustration and relevant notes on the species are provided.
