Intensive botanical studies were conducted at High Wavy Mountains which have resulted in the finding of seven new taxa of plants viz., Nothopegia vajravelui (Anacardiaceae), Syzygium sriganesanii (Myrtaceae), Syzygium zeylanicum var. megamalayanum (Myrtaceae), Sonerila parameswaranii (Melastomataceae), Schefjlera maduraiensis (Araliaceae), Hedyotis shettyi (Rubiaceae) and Anisochilus henryi (Lamiaceae). They are described here with descriptions, illustrations, notes, etc.
