Abstract

Two new species of the genus Thismia Grill. (Thismiaceae), T. annamensis (Sect. Euthismia Schlechter Subsect. Odoardoa Schlechter) and T. tentaculata (Sect. Euthismia Schlechter, Subsect. Brunonithismia Jonk.) are described and illustrated. Both were discovered recently in lowland areas of central Vietnam and represent important additions to the flora of this country.
