Abstract

Commiphora shankarsinhiana (Burseraceae), a new species is described from the Osam hills of the Rajkot district, Gujarat, India. Detailed description, comparative morphology with the allied species and photo plates are provided to facilitate the identification of the species. All the allied species are also keyed out.
