Impatiens sikkimensis (Balsaminaceae), a new name for I. lutea
Main Article Content
Abstract
The species Impatiens lutea Hook.f. was published in 1905 and used ever since for a species endemic to India. Although in use for more than 100 years, the name turns out to be a later homonym for I. lutea Lam. (1779). Thus a new name, I. sikkimensis Govaerts & Chakrab. is proposed.
