Abstract

The identity and rediscovery of Ophiorrhiza barnesii C.E.C.Fisch. (Rubiaceae), a critically endangered species from the Western Ghats is discussed here. Detailed species descriptions are accompanied by stereomicroscope images, SEM images of pollen grains, data on ecology and conservation status.
